• 20 inch Apple Cinema Display (tried one out today 2008-08-22 with my PowerBook12inch and it worked really well, and has both higher and better resolution than my current 19" CRT)
• Apple MacBook Air 11" (height:0.11-0.68in, width:11.8in, depth:7.56in (89.2 sq in), weight:2.3 pounds per Apple MacBook Air Technical Specs) 128GB FD, 4GB (max) RAM. Yes, Apple finally made a laptop physically smaller than the PowerBook G4 12" but with a display that has 33% more pixels in width. 
• Optoma PK201/301(?) (was: Optoma PK101 pico-projector - saw it 2009-071 on the SWA flight OAK-AUS and it was amazing!)
• IMP500 external 5000 mAh USB battery - recommended to me by Chris Hutchins 
• 2008-12-24 Evolv "pontas" climbing shoes, men's size 11 (tried these during the recent TBS4 bouldering competition at Mission Cliffs and they worked better than my current Evolv shoes).
• 2008-11-04 BlackBerry 9000 (est. release mid 2008-09-15) - looks like the best bet. EDGE+3G+Wifi from ATT. smartphone with camera - http://brightkite.com/ has *finally* provided a killer-app for the camera equipped smartphone.
